My portrait of an artist from Creative Liberties called “Bird Watcher” is on view from May 19-June 19, 2026 at the Herrig Center for the Arts in Bradenton, Fl.
I had great fun creating 2 pieces for the juried show “Medium Mutiny” at Art Center Sarasota. One of them called “Reaching for Bright Ideas” is a plaster wall sculpture of Michael’s hand holding a light bulb painted gold. The second piece started with fuzzy stuff that fell out of a palm tree. I combined that with a watercolor face of a pouting woman and glued glasses frames to her face. The piece is called “Bad Hair Day”. The show will be on view May 21-August 1, 2026.
My watercolor, “Artist at Work” is in the 2026 online international exhibition of Women in Watercolor.
